About Oliver
Oliver Müller is responsible for crisis and litigation communications and corporate affairs in Germany and oversees the strategic communications consultancy office in Berlin.
Oliver advises clients in special business-critical situations that require effective strategic communication to protect company value. These include internal and regulatory investigations, complex legal disputes or crises that make international headlines, as well as cyber and data protection incidents and cross-border issues management projects.
Oliver supports clients in overcoming challenges that require integrated multistakeholder communication in order to shape debates and gain the trust of customers, business partners, employees, investors and politicians. He helps companies and their executives be heard on issues of social and regulatory relevance and develop responses to stakeholder campaigns. He has particular industry experience in the healthcare and life sciences, chemicals, industrial goods, defense and logistics sectors.
Oliver Müller joined FTI Consulting as a Managing Director in 2015, following management positions at international strategy consultancies in Germany and Asia. His professional experience includes a long career as a journalist, including at the business newspaper Handelsblatt, for which he worked as a foreign correspondent in India and China.
Oliver studied French and English literature and linguistics at the Universities of Bucknell and Heidelberg, where he graduated with the first state examination before completing a journalistic traineeship at the Rheinpfalz newspaper.
